What are the NYSTCE?
The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Teacher Certification Examinations (NYSTCE) are a required part of the certification process for teachers and school leaders in New York State.
The NYSTCE are designed to ensure that candidates demonstrate:
- Strong content knowledge
- Effective instructional and pedagogical skills
- The ability to support diverse learners
- Readiness to teach in classrooms aligned to the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Standards
