2019-20 Accountability Implications Based on April 2020 USDOE Waivers and Changes to Commissioner’s Regulations §100.21 to Address the COVID-19 Crisis
This memo is to inform you that on Monday, April 6, 2020, the Board of Regents and the 鶹ýӳEducation Department (鶹ýӳ or “the Department”) made the decision to modify the accountability rules for schools and districts based on a one-year waiver 鶹ýӳ received from the United States Department of Education (USDE) from certain requirements under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
